Coir and pith

Coir and coir pith are natural, eco-friendly products derived from coconut husk and are widely used in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping, gardening, construction, and erosion control. Coir fiber is known for its high tensile strength, durability, and resistance to salt water, making it ideal for products such as ropes, mats, geo-textiles, brushes, mattresses, and cushioning materials. Coir pith, also known as coco peat, is a highly absorbent organic growing medium that improves soil aeration, moisture retention, and root development.

Coir pith is extensively used in nurseries, greenhouses, hydroponics, and floriculture, as it retains water up to eight times its weight while providing excellent drainage. Being biodegradable and renewable, coir and coir pith support sustainable farming practices and environmentally responsible applications.
